The Red Arrows will join Cunard’s Three Ship Diamond Jubilee Tribute to The Queen on Tuesday 5th June. The event will be the first time that the red Arrows have ever displayed in Southampton skies.

All three ships of the Cunard fleet (Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria) will sail in formation up the Solent to start the day of celebration, followed by a flotilla of small boats. The approach to port will begin soon after first light and as the berth, the whistles will sound to salute her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee.

The 7 aircraft Red Arrows display (starting at around 6pm) will be focussed above the Marchwood area of the docks. 25 minutes of breathtaking aeronautics will take place to honour The Queen.

As darkness falls, the celebrations will culminate in an evening spectacular with all three ships coming together and a firework display will light the skies.

Queen Mary 2 will then lead the other two ships in single file down the Solent as they head out to sea.

Chartering a Rib to welcome to Queen’s Cruise Liners home
Departing 5th June 2012 at 4:30am. Return to Ocean Village Marina at 7:30
Leaving Ocean Village Marina we will head out to meet The Queen’s Liners around The Forts in Portsmouth, and then shadow them back to Southampton Waters joining the flotilla of boats accompanying them to their respective berths.

Leaving Ocean Village Marina we will head round the View the Cruise Liners on their berths to get prime position to watch the Red Arrow Display. You will then watch the fireworks and witness the Cruise Liners slip their berths and join the flotilla of boats to Calshot, where we will then turn and return to Ocean Village Marina.

Clipper 11-12 Race finish festivities
22nd July 2012 marks the finish of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race with festivities planned on Southampton Water and in Southampton’s Ocean Village.

All are invited to witness the Race Finish celebrations with live music, air displays and the emotional return of the Clipper Race crews after their 40,000 mile circumnavigation.

Timing 2012 Event

22 July
11:30 - Music and entertainment begins on stage in Ocean Village, Southampton Bars and restaurants open.

12:00 - Clipper Race fleet parade up Southampton Water. All boat owners are invited to take part in the flotilla parade.

13:00-13:30 - Air display over Ocean Village by the Yakovlevzand Parajetformation teams

13:30-14:00 - Clipper Race fleet arrive in Ocean Village

14:30-15:30 - Clipper Race Prize Giving on stage

15:30-18:00 - Live music and entertainment on stage in Ocean Village, Southampton

Be part of The Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week 2012. Join Seadogz for this 2½ hour trip, which will get you up close to the action to experience the racing atmosphere and get those spectacular photos that are only achievable by boat. Our boats take up to 12 passengers and you will have exclusive use of the RIB.

These 2 ½ hour trips start out in Ocean Village Marina, where you will be given a full safety brief and board the RIB. You will then be taken out to the racing as quickly as possible. We are offering you the chance to get you close to the action for that once in a lifetime picture, and let you experience the thrills of competition as the World’s top Yachtsmen and Women battle it out for honours just a few feet away! Our Expert Skippers will be able to provide information on the racing, and what you are seeing, and where possible follow certain classes of racing.

Bad weather procedure:
All charters are weather dependent and any cancellations are for your own safety, if you are unsure please call your boat number for the day (found on your booking confirmation) before leaving home. Seadogz will endeavour to re book you on the next available experience.

Cancellation Policy

All books have a 10 day cancellation period from the date that you are booked. If you need to move or cancel the booking and you are within the 10 days then you may still be charged.

Safety Information:

All Charters include a safety brief and life jacket fitting.

Please dress for the outdoors, warm clothes if its cold, light, flat soled foot wear, trainers are ideal, a waterproof or windproof jacket is a good idea even if its hot, also your sun tan lotion and sunglasses. Remember, bring a change of clothes for your return – you may get wet! Lifejackets and any necessary safety equipment will be issued on the day. Waterproofs are supplied if required.

You must be physically fit. Not suitable for pregnant ladies or people with bad backs or necks. Any medical conditions must be notified to the operator on booking. There are no formal height restrictions but in order to reach the floor whilst seated on the ‘jockey seat’ participants should have an inside leg measurement of 24 inches. Weight Limit: 16st. There are no qualifications required. The minimum age is 8 years- childers must be able to hold themselves onto a jockey seat. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. (one Adult per child).

Please note: anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.

With a massive 600hp and space for 12 passengers, this custom made RIB with blast out of the water anything you have seen before! With improved seating (much more comfortable!) and over double the power of our previous RIBs, we are proud to say that we will be putting the “scream” into Extreme!

Seadogz have plenty of experience of high profile regattas and regularly get asked to provide "Media Boat" services to some of the worlds top marine photographers and international media companies. We will get you in close for that once in a lifetime picture and let you experience the thrills of competition as the worlds top Yachtsmen and Women battle it out for honours just a few feet away!

As we are all Lifeboat Coxswains we have bags of experience in safely manoeuvring in close to Yachts at sea, this is a common in rescue situations and you will very rarely get the chance to experience this.

The 2 hour experience starts at our our pontoon at Ocean Village, Southampton with a safety brief and then we get you to the action as quickly as possible. Giving you up close and personal access to the racing and thrilling you with some of our signature high speed jumps and wake rides.

Do not miss this, there are only 192 experience tickets in total and we will cover all 7 days from the Sunday of Cowes week. Once you have your ticket please please book your experience as soon as possible.
